Future Possibilities
Nexus CD-ROMs as a Template
- The Nexus concept is in the public domain.
If considered worthwhile, anyone is free to apply
the Nexus concept and format to their particular academic field
without need for obtaining permissions. Having an existing
template makes setting up a new CD relatively easy.
Crystallographic Nexus CD-ROM's
- Look into a Linux Version that can not only converts a PC into
a flexible workstation but also a powerful crystallographic development tool.
(Linux does not have the same wide range of hardware compatibility as DOS
and Windows)
Scientific Nexus CD-ROM's
- In theory, any permutation and combination for any field of
science can be implemented if the motivation by only a single
individual is present! If part of an organisational, or departmental
initiative, this should be easier; though more care should be taken
with the legal implications.
