Associate Research Professor/Full Professor Position - High Pressure Physics


Applicants are invited for appointments at the Associate Research Professor and/or Full Research Professor level. Each position involves designing and conducting independent experimental and/or theoretical research on materials under high pressures and temperatures as part of the program of the High Pressure Science and Engineering Center. The employee is expected to conceive and to do original research, to qualify for appointment to the graduate faculty for the purpose of directing graduate assistants, and to publish regularly in referred professional journals.

Applicants should fully describe their qualifications and experience, with specific reference to each of the minimum and preferred qualifications because this is the information on which the initial review of materials will be based. The review of materials will begin immediately, and will continue until the position is filled.
