Better yet, write a short proposal to get some neutron data. Mn has a
cross section of -3.7 and Fe +9.5 -- much better differentiation than you
will ever get by x-rays. Argonne, Brookhaven, Los Alamos, NIST... all
welcome new users. I recommend the new CW instruments at NIST and BNL
highly. If you have problems getting time let me know.
