Just to say *many* thanks to all who responded! I have now a variety of
suggestions, ranging in price from _free_ to ~GBP400. All of these are a
substantial improvement on GBP600+ and I'll be checking most of them out
over the next week or so. I think you can probably guess at which end of
the price-range I'll be starting!
Needless to say, if anyone is interested in the results of my surveying (or
copies of the emails I received), please let me know and I'll
summarise/forward as appropriate.
