STRUVIR, a STRUPLO to VRML converter is available as a
freeware at :
http://fluo.univ-lemans.fr:8001/
or by anonymous FTP at aviion.univ-lemans.fr
directory pub/fluorlab file: struvir.zip (<100K).
STRUVIR prepares .wrl files for 3D visualization by any
Internet browser equipped with a VRML plug-in as Netscape
+ Live3d (+ WebFX ; + VRweb ; ...) or by a standalone VRML
viewer (VRweb recommended). STRUVIR is at its best with
inorganic structures containing tetrahedra and/or octahedra.
A HPGL black and white 2D projection is also saved.
STRUVIR.ZIP contains the executable for MS WINDOWS 95, the
manual and 34 tested datafiles. FORTRAN source available on
request.
STRUPLO : R.X. Fischer, J. Appl. Cryst. 18 (1985) 258-262.
Have fun,
Armel
PS. If somebody knows a VRML viewer able to save a high
quality coloured 2D projection of a selected 3D view as a .gif
or a .jpg or a .bmp or etc..., please let me know. Thanks.
