Tony Rafertyand one or two others recently asked for structural data on
Theta-Al2O3. I don't know of a published structure determination.
However, Beta-Ga2O3 is isostructural and there is a very recent
redetermination in Acta Cryst. C52(6), 1335-8(1996). Work from the late
50's indicates that the Theta-Al2O3 cell dimensions are about 3% smaller
than Beta-Ga2O3. The information given in the above paper is certainly
sufficient as a starting point.
