I'll answer this for everyone as well. On the PC GSAS uses "DOS" graphics
(via PGPLOT). DOS graphics has a number of inherent limitations, namely
that it is really intended to work in "full screen" mode. I.e. as on a DOS
machine. Microsoft's emulation of DOS in Windows is probably the source of
the problem in trying to use the GSAS "B" option in a window. The "A"
option is just the same mode as in previous versions of PC-GSAS; it
sometimes works in a window and sometimes not. The cursor behavior is also
different between the two modes. A mouse will move the cursor in "A" mode
but will not in "B" mode; you'll need to use the "arrow" keys. These are
limitations in the Fortran libraries supplied by Microsoft.
