I want to pass on information about a program that can be used for the
display, indexing and profile-fitting of powder diffraction data, CMPR.
It does some things that I have not seen elsewhere (which is why I
wrote it).

This program has been available in a UNIX version for a while, but it
now runs in Windows (-95, minimal testing in -NT). A web page with
more detailed information about the program and with links to
downloading instructions, can be found in

http://rrdjazz.nist.gov/~toby/cmpr.html

I want to thank to Lachlan Cranswick for wading through many alpha
versions.

Brian
