[sdpd] Beta release of Mercury crystal structure visualiser

Dear Colleague,


CCDC is pleased to announce the beta release of its new crystal 
structure visualiser program Mercury.


Mercury will, in its release version, form part of the Cambridge 
Structural Database System, but we are nevertheless intending to allow 
download of Mercury from the CCDC website, completely free of charge, 
as a service to the crystallographic community.


We're not quite there yet with the release version, but we would like 
to invite you to download the beta version of the software from CCDC's 
website, use it, and feed back all comments that you have, negative or 
positive, to us at support...@ccdc.cam.ac.uk . Please do also tell your 
friends about this - we'd like the beta release to be used as widely 
as possible.
