That problem of endless digits on the step can be difficult
to solve completely without changing a step like 0.0083628259etc
into 0.0084 or 0.0083. A small software is able to do that (DAT2RIT),
available at :             http://www.cristal.org/also.html
Of course the data are interpolated, and you may not like it.
It is your choice to use it or not.
