Below are my results for your powder xrd search match round robin. I am
running Traces v5 search match software, and using the ICDD Powder
Diffraction File Release 1999 ( Data sets 1-49 plus 70 - 86). Unfortunately,
my software doesn't allow me to send you an electronic copy of the pattern
and matches. I can post a paper copy if you need it.


 ...and my work is mainly to do with geological and
industrial samples. I have been working with xrd for about 9 years, but have
no experience with organic or pharmaceutical samples.


 My matches are as follows:


Sample 1 smrr-1         quartz, SiO2
                               siderite, FeCO3
                                hydroxylapatite, Ca5(PO4)3(OH)
                                gormanite, Fe3Al4(PO4)4(OH)6.2H2O


Sample 2 smrr-2         stishovite, SiO2
                                quartz, SiO2
                                SiF4
                                SiO2
This is not a complete match by any means, and I would not be happy to give
these results to a customer. I cannot identify the organic phase.


Sample 3 smrr-3         thalidomide, C13H10N2O
Again, this is not a complete match and there are other (unidentified)
phases present. I have no experience with organic phase identification, so
this is purely a results from the software and the chemistry provided. 


Sample 4 smrr-4         Litharge, PbO
                                Lead oxide sulfate hydrate, Pb4O3So4.xH2O
                                Lead oxide sulfate, Pb5O4SO4
