The laboratory has three of its own computer controlled X-ray diffractometers: one four-circle serial diffractometer (Nonius CAD4), and two kappa geometry CCD diffractometers (Nonius KappaCCD). Two of the diffractometers have a cryostream attached for low temperature work.

Every student has their own PC to carry out data reduction, structure solution and refinement.
