Glad to see a reply so quickly. I beg to differ with Alan (sorry).
Although I would be very happy with a simple summary of answers to a
particular question, as long as this happened, it usually doesn't happen.
My mailbox is "flooded" with questions that are of little interest--I simply
delete them. However, I believe that the list server should not be used, as
it is being used, as an excuse for going to the library, etc. It should be
used as a means for interested parties all over the world to communicate
questions, answers, and opinions.
