Re: GRAINYNESS & PREFERRED ORIENTATION

I think I know what is preferred orientation, but what's this "graininess
effect"? Is it the large statistical fluctuation due to the bulkiness of
the sample (even sample doesn't have a preferred orientation)?

Any help will be appreciated.
