I think of two sources:

The Chemical Market Reporter (a periodical) available online at
http://www.chemexpo.com/cmronline/login.cfm but... only for subscribers.
They have quick profiles about different chemicals every week.

The Kirk-Othmer encyclopedia of chemical technology but... not available
online.

Therefore, we have both collections here and if you are intersted, I could
look for you in those paper sources, just let me know!

I am looking for a source that will provide me with a brief list of
industrial applications of specific chemicals. Preferably this will be
something electronic, however a book or dictionary-type reference work
in alphabetical order would work as well. This source would need to be
very comprehensive. Is anyone familiar with such a source?
