Re: [sdpd] PCOD update with titanosilicates

A list with > 30 titanosilicate models with the more opened
frameworks is now available at :
http://www.cristal.org/grinsp/titanosilicates/framdens/

The smallest framework density (FD) is 10.6.

I can't say if those hypothetical titanosilicates will be observed
really some day....

For zeolites, the observed values range from about 12.1 for
structures with the largest pore volume to around 20.6. To date,
FD's of less than 12 have only been encountered for cloverite
(with an interrupted framework).

Kind regards,

Armel
